The Grandparenting Time

Craig and I enter the Provo Missionary Training Center in 10 days!

We celebrated our 35 year wedding anniversary on May 30.  You could say we are going to Italy to celebrate.  We are going to be in Italy for 18 months. I feel that my main object before leaving is to build all the memories I can with the grandchildren.  I do believe we are doing a pretty good job at it.  No one runs off when we walk in the room, hugs and kisses are even given out freely.

She loves to be a helper on projects

The oldest can really tug at your heart strings with her happiness and her words saying I am going to miss you when you go to Italy.  Right now she is the only one who understands what we are doing and that we will be gone for what might seem like eternity. But she likes reading to us or us reading to her, playing games, pushing her on the swing, and telling us about her day.

Grandpa's tools are the best

Her brother wants to do everything the big kids and even the big grown ups are doing. He will lay his head right into your shoulder, which is welcome at anytime. We have a finger thing going.  He will point his pointer finger at me and we touch.  It is our hello touch, I love you touch.  He just wants to be with you and explores our room to discover candy or pens, he loves both.

This one is fiercely independent. But he loves exploring, trying new things and then repeating them over and over again, always asking for more.  You could never play peek a boo enough or pretend to be scared from his roar or let him tickle you enough.
