Mount Battaglia

Hiking is one of our favorite activities as a couple. We are blessed to be serving with young people who also enjoy hiking. Thus we are totally justified to go on a hike to spend one on one time with one or two of them. 

Spending time together can be the best experience.  Time is good, good experiences are good too.  Clean fun, hard challenges, and "yes, I did it" accomplishment are it, it being part of the good things called interaction or time, time together.

From the summit

Mount Battaglia is in Sicily, in the middle area of Sicily.  To get there we drove through the friendly village of Polizzi Generosa (Generous Policy).

And like any good village there might be a cow or two on the road

The beginning.  We didn't know what the trail would be like but we encounter a variety of beauty.
