So you want to have fun, so do we. Spending time doing good things is what our mission is all about.
Recently we have enjoyed some really fun times with our young adults. This is included a karaoke night.
| A trio of singers - Veronica, Salvo, and Susy |
| The Prayer |
| Clara is the best |
| Anziano Hansen and Anziano Haws - don't worry it was an approved song |
| Francisco and Susy duet |
| Rise your arms and your voices |
| Maybe a little "summer loving" happening here |
| Gabrielle and Clara singing duet |
Karaoke is a favorite among our young adults and apparently missionaries too. You might even have caught a glimpse of me singing a little "Summer Loving."
There are no basketball courts here, but we do have parking lot volleyball. Ping Pong and foosball are other favorites. The missionaries organized a friendly game of volleyball with one of the young adults and his friends. It was even more fun because we met his parents.
| We play parking lot volleyball, it is much better than beach volleyball |
| Love her |
| Smile is her motto |
| Veronica and Susy - such kind young ladies |
| Sometimes the neighborhood kids show up to join you |
| Denis got it |
| Anziano Haws in action |
| I am ready to return the ball |
The volleyball may have got a little misdirected and turned into a combination volleyball and soccer game.
Our wonderful Institute teachers had an end of year party and dinner at their home. We were fee spiritually by the missionaries and the teachers and fed physically by the teachers with delicious vegetable sandwiches and gelato to top it all off.
| Most of the group |
| Gabrielle intensely listening to the spiritual lesson |
| Carolina and Ginevra - such sweet young ladies |
| Carolina one of the finest young adults |
| Dario is always ready with a smile |
| Marco, Adeja, and Papon |
| Antonio, Gabrielle, and Clara |
It was just a bit cooler outside than inside. Also the size of your home doesn't matter it is the size of your heart that matters and the Aliosios have a very big heart.
Sunday evening we had a small gathering of young adults and shared the blessings of Family History. A short video along with how to log into Family Search was part of the evening. Plus a silly game of "do as I say not as I do" and refreshments.
| Do as I say not as I do, it is a little harder than you think |
| Some vegetables to balance off the coconut pineapple cake |
Food is always a good way to end an evening.
The best part of all this is not some much what we do but we do things together.
