Young missionaries are quite amazing. Their dedication to serving is an example that almost seems impossible to follow.
A young missionary's schedule is -
6:30 wake, pray, exercise, eat, shower, dress
8:00 study scriptures, lesson plans, Preach My Gospel
10:00 appointments, finding, teaching
1:00 lunch, language study
3:00 or 4:00 appointments, finding, teaching, English course
8:30 or 9:00 home, planning, journal, dinner, mission prayer
9:30 to 10:30 personal prayers, retire to bed
Repeat
Somewhere in there they keep their home clean, do their laundry, make treats for others, service for others, calls, meetings, visits to members, etc
On Monday's life is a little different, the schedule is -
6:30 wake, pray, exercise, eat, shower, dress
8:00 grocery shopping, shopping, clean house, write emails, read emails, sight see
6:00 appointments, finding, teaching,
8:30 to 9:00 home, planning, journal, dinner, mission prayer
9:30 to 10:30 personal prayers, personal studies, retire to bed
But they are happy, happy and tired, but happy. Happy and grateful. Happy and diligent.
They love their family and they love their Heavenly Father and they love all His children. That's why young missionaries are here in Italy, here in Palermo, out throughout the world.
Here are some pictures taken over the last couple of months of our missionaries. We are grateful for their goodness.
