You might have noticed I missed a week so I will do my best to catch with two weeks in one.
Last week I visited the Japanese Friendship Gardens in Balboa Park. I caught them on the tail end of the cherry blossoms. They were still beautiful. There was plenty of cherry trees and plenty of visitors for my time was on "Free Tuesday". The museums of Balboa Park rotate free days, the 3rd Tuesday of the month the Japanese Friendship Gardens are free.
Enjoy Bonsai trees, wisteria, koa, grasses, azaleas, waterways, and friendship at the Japanese Friendship Gardens.
